ISO9001 - DATA COMPILATION AND ANALYSIS

ICC is the only company within the field that complies with ISO9001 for data compilation and analysis.

This was initially accredited under the ISO9002 Standard in 1995 for the Cardiff production operations. The revised standard (ISO9001 - 2000) has been consistently achieved following yearly surveillance.

The standard covers data compilation & analysis, meaning ICC has fully documented procedures in place to analyse data consistently. This means that ICC's clients can be safe in the knowledge that ICC's analysis procedures are rigorously followed ensuring high standards of data capture and analysis.

CURRENCY

The currency of analysed reports is at present 99.17%. This represents a turnaround time of just under 3 days from receipt of accounts to analysis (in the peak filing period) - the fastest in the marketplace.

POPULATION OF THE UK & IRISH FINANCIAL DATABASE

ICC has the most comprehensive database of analysed accounts information because it captures all UK and Irish companies that have filed accounts.

ACCURACY

ICC capture all of their own financial data. Stringent measures are in place to ensure high standards of accuracy are maintained by continuous sampling and measurement. Our current accuracy level is 99.6%.

STANDARDISATION

To ensure consistent analysis and comparability of companies it is essential to have consistent methods of datacapture. ICC therefore analyses accounts information in line with standard notes and definitions and not necessarily as presented by the company itself, resulting in greater visibility in areas such as ratios, industry quartiles, growth rates and credit scores.

CREDIT SCORE

ICC works with acknowledged experts in consumer and commercial credit to produce one of the most predictive scoring models for UK and Irish companies.

CURRENCY

ICC is the only company to capture shareholding information from both the annual return document and subsequent change documents, filed throughout the year, resulting in the only database that is fully updated on a daily basis.

COVERAGE

ICC currently has over 5 million shareholders covering 1.9 million companies captured on the database.

ICC's coverage of shareholders incorporates Irish companies.

DATA OWNERS

The data is keyed and owned by ICC allowing the flexibility to deliver customised solutions and also flexibility in agreeing commercial terms for the supply and redistribution of the data.

COVERAGE

There is currently a population of 9.3 million live directorships covering 2.5 million companies held on the ICC directors database. This includes coverage of Southern Irish and Northern Irish directors which is keyed by ICC.

CURRENCY

ICC updates the ICC directors database on a daily basis through feeds from Companies House, and via the keying of Irish directors from the original documents provided by the Irish CRO.

BSI ACCREDITED

ICC Information is the only company of its kind to comply with the BSI's standard for the legal admissibility of electronic images (PD0008).

POPULATION

ICC has the most comprehensive image bank of statutory filed documents of its kind in Europe (this is even larger than Companies House's; see BACKSCANNING below). ICC's current document image population is over 360 million.

These figures reflect the fact that ICC is the only company of our type to take all daily images from the UK and Irish Registries and the fact that we own the only Companies House duplicate microfiche library providing all documents filed up to 1999. As a result ICC also acts as the Companies House disaster recovery.

BACKSCANNING

To further enhance ICC's reputation as a market leader in the area of original company filings, ICC has undergone a project of backscanning all pertinent documents pre-1996 to enable amongst other things the ability to index the most salient documents (such as mem & arts, cert of inc's, change of name etc.) and allow them to be downloaded instantly.

CURRENCY

ICC receives a daily FTP feed from Companies House resulting in Document Images being available within 12 hours of being scanned at Companies House - as fast a turnaround as is possible in this industry.
